HONG LEONG TRANSPORT AGENCY is a sister company/organization of HONG LEONG TRADING COMPANY and both companies are subsidiary of HONG LEONG INTERNATIONAL. The group of companies were founded by Mr. Yew Chor Kee on Year 1975.

Hong Leong Transport Agency has been a leader in the logistic industry of Malaysia and they are recognized being one of the best transport agency and logistic partner in the Northern Malaysia (especially for Penang, Alor Setar and up to Hatt Yai).

Our first office is located in Ipoh, Perak State. Being in the northern-central of West Malaysia. It is a strategic location to manage transport routes from Port Klang and Kuala Lumpur to Ipoh, Butterworth, Alor Setar, Penang and Thailand. Besides that, our Ipoh’s warehouse has also been used by other transporters to store their goods which are imported all the way from Singapore to the Northen part of Malaysia and Southern part of Thailand.

With the years of experience, HONG LEONG TRANSPORT has also branch out to the trading aspect due to the demand from the trade and direct clients.

HONG LEONG TRADING COMPANY was then set up in the late 1980s. Being a exporter for Malaysian Foodstuff to Thailand and importer of Salt and Flour from India, Australia are some of the products carried by this sister company.
